In 2014, a friend and I were talking about new ideas for
possible products and our conversation led to how changes in technology
can enhance the seemingly everyday object into something magical, enabling
far greater functionality.
Kicking the idea ball around, we zeroed in on the concept of adding
a digital interface to a corkboard to help families stay better connected,
share ideas, and be a control hub for smart homes with IoT devices.
We named our creation BeeBoard.
I fabricated some prototypes and we deployed them amongst our families
for initial user feedback.
Getting positive reviews, we pitched our idea to others and filed the
paperwork to form our General Enchantment LLC.

After many long days and night, we had production prototypes
in hand and functioning software.
We introduced BeeBoard to the world at TechCrunch Disrupt NY on May
2016.

In October of 2016, our BeeBoard Social Digital Signage software was officially released in the iOS app store -- BeeBoard Publisher (for iPhone) + BeeBoard Viewer (for iPad).
Since then, BeeBoard has been making its way in the world helping people stay connected in homes, offices, hospitals, shops and labs.

For the user with less space, we also created the BeeBoard Leeson to offer a simple and elegant method to mount your tablet to the wall. Leeson features a convenient cork strip so you can post small notes, cards, house keys, or memorabilia.
